A renowned technocrat and serving Federal Commissioner at the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC), Dr. Ibrahim Jalo Daudu, has commended Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, for the visionary launch of the Gombe State Secretariat Project — a transformational initiative poised to redefine the face of public service delivery in the state.

Dr. Daudu, who represents Gombe, Adamawa, and Taraba States at the FCSC and also served as a retired Federal Permanent Secretary and former Head of Gombe State Civil Service, described the new secretariat as a "landmark intervention" and a bold expression of the Governor’s commitment to institutional reform.

“This is a visionary and strategic project that will significantly enhance productivity, boost morale, and create a more conducive working environment for the state workforce. It is a legacy that reflects true leadership and commitment to institutional development,”
Dr. Ibrahim Jalo Daudu

🏢 A Civil Service Legacy in the Making

According to Dr. Daudu, the multi-billion naira secretariat complex is a direct fulfillment of Governor Inuwa Yahaya’s pledge to uplift the standard of the civil service and modernize the machinery of governance in Gombe State.

The project, he said, reflects a forward-looking leadership style that not only addresses current administrative challenges but also prepares for future demands in a growing state bureaucracy.

🤝 Better Governance, Stronger Institutions

Designed to house all state ministries and agencies under one roof, the new Gombe State Secretariat is expected to:

  • Improve coordination and operational synergy among government departments
  • Reduce overhead costs from scattered offices
  • Enhance service delivery to the people of Gombe State
  • Foster unity and professionalism among public servants

Already, the initiative is receiving wide commendation from civil servants, many of whom see it as a tangible sign of responsive governance and a fulfilled promise.

🎯 Commendation for Visionary Leadership

Dr. Daudu further hailed Governor Inuwa Yahaya’s focus on transformational governance, describing the foundation laying as "another feather in the cap" of an administration that places people and institutions at the heart of development.

He urged public servants to reciprocate the gesture with greater dedication and excellence in service, noting that such an enabling environment deserves equally high standards in public administration.

This landmark secretariat project is more than bricks and mortar — it is a symbol of leadership that works, delivers, and builds for tomorrow.
