The Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has successfully performed the Lesser Hajj (Umrah) in the holy city of Makkah, Saudi Arabia, as preparations continue for the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage.

The Governor was accompanied by the Commissioner for Special Duties and Rural Development, Hon. Farouq Mustapha, along with other senior officials of the Bauchi State Government. During the spiritual journey, Governor Bala and his delegation offered special prayers for peace, unity, and progress in Bauchi State and Nigeria at large.

While addressing intending pilgrims from Bauchi State, Governor Bala urged them to be God-fearing, law-abiding, and focused on the essence and spiritual significance of the Hajj.

“This is a sacred journey that requires humility and calmness. I urge you to be good ambassadors, representing Bauchi State and Nigeria with dignity and discipline,” the Governor said.

Senator Bala Mohammed also reassured the pilgrims that his administration would continue to provide the necessary support to ensure a smooth and successful Hajj operation this year without any setbacks.

The Governor’s delegation also held high-level meetings and consultations with relevant Hajj authorities, exploring ways to improve the welfare of Bauchi pilgrims both this year and in the future.
