Dignitaries Gather in Kaduna as VP Shettima, Gov Inuwa Yahaya Attend Wedding of Transport Minister’s Son

The city of Kaduna came alive today as top government officials, political leaders, and traditional rulers converged at the historic Sultan Bello Mosque for the wedding fatiha of Farouk Said Alkali, son of the Honourable Minister of Transport, Senator Said Ahmed Alkali.

Leading the dignitaries was the Vice President of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima, GCON, who was joined by governors, ministers, members of the National Assembly, and other eminent personalities for the high-profile ceremony.

Among the prominent attendees was the Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, who graced the occasion to celebrate with the Alkali and Mohammed Yola families as Farouk tied the knot with his bride, Salaha Abdulazeez Mohammed Yola.

The ceremony was not only a display of cultural grace and religious solemnity but also a gathering that reaffirmed bonds of friendship and solidarity among Nigeria’s political and traditional elites.

Governor Inuwa Yahaya, speaking at the event, congratulated the couple and their families, praying for a blessed and harmonious marital journey.

“This joyous occasion marks the beginning of a beautiful journey for Farouk and Salaha. I pray that Almighty Allah grants them peace, love, and understanding as they build their new life together,” the governor said.

Governor Inuwa Yahaya was accompanied by a delegation of top officials from Gombe State, including Arc. Yunusa Yakubu, Dr. Jamilu Ishiyaku Gwamna, Alhaji Musa Garba, and the Commissioner for Finance and Economic Development, Muhammad Gambo Magaji, among others.

The event, characterized by warmth, celebration, and brotherhood, highlighted the enduring importance of family values and social harmony in Nigerian society.
