Gombe Governor Inuwa Yahaya Applauds President Tinubu’s Bold Leadership at Two-Year Mark
As President Bola Ahmed Tinubu marks his second year in office, Gombe State Governor and Chairman of the Northern States Governors’ Forum, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has extended warm congratulations, praising the President’s bold leadership and reform-driven governance.
In a goodwill message on behalf of the government and people of Gombe State, Governor Inuwa described the Tinubu administration as one that has demonstrated “courageous leadership, bold reforms, and purposeful governance,” especially under the banner of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
According to the Governor, the President has made decisive strides in repositioning Nigeria for sustainable growth. He pointed to transformative infrastructure projects like the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and the Sokoto-Badagry Road as signs of real progress toward bridging development gaps and energizing the national economy.
“These projects, alongside interventions in energy, agriculture, transportation, and the digital economy, are steadily laying the foundation for a more prosperous and resilient Nigeria,” Governor Inuwa stated.
He also commended the federal government’s intensified efforts in addressing national security challenges, noting the stepped-up campaigns against insurgency, banditry, and criminality as a welcome and much-needed development.
Governor Inuwa further applauded President Tinubu’s inclusive and consultative approach to governance, which he said has helped foster national unity and build greater trust in public institutions.
“In Gombe and across the North, we’re already witnessing the positive impact of these policies,” he said. “There’s improved collaboration with the Federal Government, expanded access to social investment initiatives, and more targeted empowerment programmes reaching youths, women, and vulnerable communities.”
As the nation reflects on two years of the Tinubu-Shettima administration, Governor Inuwa Yahaya offered prayers for continued divine guidance, good health, and wisdom for the President as he continues to lead Nigeria toward peace, equity, and national development.
