Senator Bala Mohammed Returns to Bauchi After Performing Hajj

From Abdulwahab Muhammad Bauchí

The Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has returned home following the successful completion of the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Governor Bala Mohammed, accompanied by the First Lady of Bauchi State, Her Excellency Hajiya Aisha Bala Mohammed, arrived at the Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport, Bauchi, where they were warmly welcomed by an enthusiastic crowd.

Among those present to receive the governor were the Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Auwal Jatau, top government officials, traditional rulers, political stakeholders, and numerous supporters and well-wishers who gathered to show solidarity and respect.

The Hajj, one of the five pillars of Islam, is a significant spiritual journey that draws millions of Muslims from across the globe. This year’s pilgrimage saw a strong turnout of Nigerian contingents, who performed the prescribed religious rites in the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah.

With the spiritual journey completed, Governor Bala Mohammed is expected to immediately resume his official duties, with renewed vigor and commitment to the continued transformation of Bauchi State. His return signals a continuation of key developmental projects, policy reforms, and people-centered governance across all sectors of the state.
