Bauchi State Celebrates Indigenes Honored as NIPR Fellows at Uyo Conference

Bauchi State is beaming with pride as two of its distinguished sons have been conferred with the prestigious Fellowship of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR)—the highest professional recognition in the field. This honor was bestowed during the Institute’s Annual Conference held in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
In a congratulatory message, His Excellency, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, CON, FNIPR (Kauran Daular Usmaniyya), Governor of Bauchi State, hailed the achievement as a proud moment for the state. He praised the honorees—Malam Mohammed Inuwa Bello, Chairman of the Bauchi State Broadcasting Corporation and Managing Director of Eagle Radio, and Alhaji Bashi Adamu Ambi, a nominee from the Lagos chapter of NIPR—for their outstanding contributions to public relations in Nigeria.
“Their conferment as Fellows of NIPR is a well-deserved recognition of their professionalism, dedication, and excellence in advancing the PR profession,” Governor Mohammed said.

ns to all other recipients across Nigeria, describing their elevation as a source of inspiration for PR professionals nationwide.Governor Bala Mohammed took the opportunity to commend the national leadership of the NIPR for organizing a successful conference and for sustaining the relevance of the institute through high professional and ethical standards. He noted that the growing impact of the NIPR on national development is evident through its promotion of effective communication strategies.
“As we continue to build a robust media and communication sector in Bauchi State, we are proud of our indigenes who are making waves nationally and globally,” the Governor added.
This latest recognition brings the number of NIPR Fellows from the Bauchi State chapter to three: Mr. Andy Iheme, Kabiru Garba Aminu, and the newly inducted Alhaji Mohammed Inuwa Bello.
Governor Mohammed reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering support for the public relations profession, pledging continued collaboration with the NIPR for the advancement of communication and public engagement in Nigeria.
