Mecca, Saudi Arabia – 07/05/2025

In a moment of unity, faith, and leadership beyond borders, His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, paid a heartfelt visit to pilgrims (Alhazai) from Bauchi State currently performing Hajj in the Holy City of Mecca.

Governor Bala, who is in Saudi Arabia for a medical check-up, demonstrated once again the depth of his compassion and connection to his people. Despite the personal nature of his trip, he made it a priority to meet with the pilgrims, extend his warm greetings, and provide financial support to ease their stay and ensure a smoother worship experience in the Holy Land.

This special intervention included logistics support, welfare packages, and a pledge to continue prioritizing the spiritual and physical well-being of Bauchi citizens wherever they are.

“Leadership does not stop at state borders,” a source close to the Governor stated. “Even in Mecca, His Excellency remains deeply connected to his people.”

The Alhazai, deeply moved by the visit, offered words of gratitude and sincere prayers for the Governor. They praised his humility, foresight, and ever-present concern for their needs, praying for his continued health and safe return.

“May Allah accept your worship and bring you back home safely. Ameen,” the pilgrims prayed in unison.

This visit underscores Governor Bala Mohammed’s enduring legacy of people-centered leadership. Whether through developmental projects at home or support for citizens abroad, he continues to prove that true governance is rooted in empathy, service, and genuine care.

As the pilgrims continue their sacred journey, they carry with them not just the blessings of Mecca, but the warmth of a Governor who stands with them—even in the holiest of places.
