The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) held a high-level National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting yesterday in Abuja, bringing together key party stakeholders from across the country to deliberate on the party's future and strategic direction.

Speaking at the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum and Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed (Kauran Bauchi), delivered a powerful address reaffirming the commitment of PDP governors to the unity, progress, and internal democracy of the party.

Governor Bala Mohammed commended the spirit of dialogue and cooperation that guided the NEC meeting, noting that the PDP remains a resilient and people-focused political platform with the capacity to reposition Nigeria for growth and development.

“We are united, focused, and committed to rebuilding trust within our ranks. The PDP will continue to stand firm as a credible alternative for Nigerians,” — Senator Bala Mohammed.

The governor also called on party members nationwide to close ranks, build bridges, and work collectively towards victory in the coming elections.

This address reinforces Bala Mohammed’s leadership as a consensus-builder and strategic voice within the PDP, further positioning him as a unifying figure ahead of the party's next phase of political engagement.
